About me

Jan Prach

Trading is one of the hardest professions you can learn. The whole field is full of misinformation, price manipulation, insider trading and fake financial gurus. More than 80% of retail traders lose most of their capital, and only a fraction reach what actually matters — consistent profitability.

For twelve years I worked in private and institutional banking — Dresdner Bank, Citibank, ČSOB, PPF and J&T — managing billion-scale portfolios and bespoke structured products for affluent and institutional clients. In parallel I studied psychology (PVŠPS PPF), completed a psychodynamic training, and spent over a decade as a psychotherapist and coach, including work for Charles University.

Since 2021 I've been a full-time intraday trader. I first helped build and eventually built my own Sierra Chart platform (C++/ACSIL) with dozens of proprietary indicators — including iceberg and algorithmic-order detectors. My intention is to pass on to retail traders what I know about trading psychology, risk management and finding an Edge.
